Metal rakes

where The corners were bent as hell

and half rusted from leaving it out

that you were of course scolded for.

Sometimes it was fun

because the corners

would bounce out of place

not following along with the metal ones

still hanging on to their form.

I come from adding water to the conditioner bottle

at least 3 times

before finally succumbing to its demise
